Never forget
Do you think CCP is on the right track? How long do you think it will take? |

I would love to get a response from the devs. Is this still the roadmap for nullsec? |

Because it's completely impractical and logistics is, by its nature, efficiently scaleable. Even if you implemented some completely stupid arbitrary ingame rules to prevent that the end result would be creating hundreds of tiny little corps or organizations to accommodate logistics. You could still make it more risky..... |

Looking at the chart makes me think its part of a CCP troll. See the list for mining. Lucrative is listed.
Yea, it brings a bittervet tear to my eye. Nullsec used to be full of miners even though the population in Eve was much lower. Today nullsec is just full of nullified T3's.

Indeed. |

Though much more needs to happen to make null sec empires more reliant on their local resources instead of leeching someone else's empire (NPC empire space) to maintain their own. That's something I would eventually like to see happen. I agree. It's a good step. I would just like to get a confirmation that this roadmap is still the one they are following.

Mobile cyno jammer should of helped as well. So slowly they are making changes. I think by the time the new space open up, we will have a complete null sec revamp, over a long period of time. Probably by that time, we will have new sov mechanics too, but implemented over a few expansions and not just one big lump.
Adding some mobile units is in my opinion some very small steps. But i agree, it's a good change. But much more is needed and keep in mind that the dev blog is from 2011. If they are keeping that speed we might have new sov mechanics by 2020. |

It's worth reading if you are interested...I was most interested in the concept of "smallholding", but I think we are actually getting there w/ mobile depots and the like. Woha... To bad those got lost when they changed forum. Many good ideas.
CCP should really repost them. |
